I am a wife to a very supportive husband and a mom to three beautiful babies! We have lived in Colorado Springs for almost 6 years now and love the mountains. I’m a lover of brunch, coffee, horses, trips to Costco, adventures, and quiet nights at home binge watching my favorite shows.

I have had two hospital births and one homebirth.

My oldest son was born in January 2019 and my hospital birth with him did not go as I had hoped. I wanted a natural hospital birth with no drugs/ interventions and instead I had an induction due to bleeding which later led me to getting an epidural. No one was listening to my wishes, and no one was there to stand up for me.

When I got pregnant with my daughter, I knew I wanted a natural birth and decided to hire a doula, photographer, and make my birth plan very clear to my OB and birth team. I ended up having a natural hospital birth but due to the OB pulling on my placenta I was forced into accepting Pitocin after delivery due to the staff scaring me into thinking I was “hemorrhaging”.

Each pregnancy and journey I did more research, had stronger beliefs, and loved pregnancy/birth even more. Then I got pregnant with my youngest son. I knew I wanted to do a home water birth and so I hired a Midwife. I also hired my doula and photographer again as they played a huge roll in my delivery with my daughter. My homebirth was the most peaceful delivery with no interventions.

After my homebirth my love and passion for all things birth skyrocketed! I knew this was my calling and wanted to help other mamas in this motherhood journey. So, I registered for a doula class and completed that in February 2025.

Homebirth will forever have my heart, but I also love supporting my clients so they can have the birth that their heart desires.
